aMuse will present the annual VCE Music Teachers’ Conference on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February 2012 at the iconic Melbourne High School in South Yarra.

The speakers and workshop presenters will provide teaching advice and strategies for 2012 while reflecting and reporting on the results from 2011.

Central to the focus of all sessions will be the 2011 VCE Music Study Design, its supporting documents, and the VCE Assessment Handbook. There will be opportunity for teachers to share their views through discussion about how to improve teaching and learning in 2012.

Teachers attending the VCE Music Teachers’ Conference should bring copies of the Music Study Design, the VCE Assessment Handbook, and, when available, the 2011 written exam and examiners reports. These documents will be regularly referred to, so it is essential to obtain copies.

There will be five sessions at this conference.
Please note:
Sessions 1 and 1A, 2 and 2A are concurrent.
Session 3, Music Performance on Sunday 26 February covers all 4 units and runs the entire day.
